On Saturday, April 15, Daniela Martins was baptized in her own back yard with many family members and friends present in support. For many years, Daniela has attended church services with her parents. However, in recent months, she has made the choice to study the Bible in a focused and consistent way. Within the past week, Daniela told her parents what she wanted to do. She made it clear that it was her personal decision.

So on a warm Saturday afternoon, many gathered and shared of their love and appreciation for Daniela and the Martins’ family. Her friendly smile, independent spirit and warm hugs were mentioned often.

The teen ministry in Providence has some amazing momentum building. Four have been baptized in the past several months. The campus disciples have taken a huge interest in helping out their younger friends. Game nights, spiritual outings and Bible Talks have showed these young souls the way. Now, they are inspiring the rest of the congregation with their faith, zeal and courage.
