On a quiet, Friday night in Pawtucket an extraordinary event took place. For those who drove over to 923 York Avenue, an eternity-changing transformation transpired. Amy Richardson got baptized in a back yard in front of about 30 friends and spiritual family members.
Amy teaches with Sonia Matias in North Attleboro. As she shared, very soon Amy saw something different in Sonia. She wanted to know what it was. From those early conversations to the Bible studies that took place later, Amy began to make steps in her own life through the help of God’s Word. Anita Allen and Jody Martins also became study partners.
Amy is a wife and the mother of three girls. Three Bible Talks, plus a few more, came out to witness her immersion. Following the baptism, food was brought out and lively fellowship, laughter, eating and playing began.
Thank God for Sunday services, triumphant singing, prayer chains, Wednesday midweeks . . . and Friday nights when souls are saved for His glory.
