Angel and Angelica Mercado are newly married and somewhat new members of our church. They also both serve in the military.
Recently, Angelica found out that she is being deployed to the Middle East near the end of January. So, many family members and friends gathered for a “going away and we love you” party on Saturday, January 11. Food and fellowship was widespread. Sharing took place. Hugs were given. Tears fell.
Let’s keep Angelica and the entire Mercado family in our prayers. God will teach them a lot through this time and we’ll be called on to be family for Angel and the kids even more so in the coming year.
