On Saturday, October 26, two of our church’s teenagers ran in the high school cross country meet – Eli Mejia from East Cranston High School and Ben Martins from Lincoln High School. The stunning sites of fall leaves on trees made a beautiful back-drop to the race. Hundreds of spectators cheered on their kids on a picture-perfect day.
In addition to our high school children, Nate Pasquarello runs cross country for Johnston and Wales University. In fact, Nate serves as one of the captains. Though his season is still ongoing, Nate raced recently at Lincoln’s CCRI campus (see pictures included). Nate was baptized this summer and is majoring in the culinary arts.
We celebrate all of many gifts of those around us – spiritual, mental and physical. May God use these gifts to make us more effective vessels in His service.
