On Saturday, October 26, the Cherys received gifts, cards, hugs and handshakes from family and friends at their baby shower. Blackstone Valley Historical Society was the location for this event on a gorgeous fall day in New England.
The shower, hosted by Carine Monteiro and Jiayin Saarinen, began with healthy foods and a fancy set-up, featuring the pink of a soon-to-be baby girl. Many family members came from Massachusetts. Work associated and church members flooded Lincoln from Rhode Island. Laughter, smiles and memories flowed through the 11 AM – 1 PM slot.
We are so glad the Cherys came our way from Lexington, Kentucky. And it is especially enjoyable to watch them begin their family under God’s watchful eye and in our congregation.
