On Sunday, September 29, a group of 30+ people traveled down to Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island for the immersion of Lani Flynn. Joined by family and friends, and following some sharing and her pronouncement of “Jesus is Lord, Lani started her new life with Christ.
Nohealani (“Lani”) has been a long-time friend of Walter and Shirley Arrecis. Their friendship initially attracted her to the church and Bible study. Many of the women – Angelica Mercado, Ari Guaba, Jody Martins, Anita Allen and Shirley – have been helping Lani understand God’s will for her life. This mother of two beautiful girls has a huge smile and heart and is off to a great beginning.
Let’s all get to know Lani and continue to pray for her in this exciting chapter of her life. She had 10-15 of her own family and friends out to see her get baptized. Her impact is already being felt in powerful ways.
