One of the joys of our partnership as brothers and sisters in the international churches of Christ is our closeness relationally and in proximity with other New England congregations. That has allowed us to have several guest preachers come visit us. In recent weeks we have hosted Tim Blake and Julius Ferrer from Hartford, as well as Doug Arthur from Boston (pictured below).
This upcoming Sunday, January 4, we will be privileged to hear from Roy Stagg, from Austin, Texas.
Beyond preaching, we have had numerous guest song leaders (Scott Benoit from Hartford, Jerry Maday from Worcester, & Dave Mesquitta and Karl Alleyne from Boston’s South Region) and communion speakers (like John & Tracy Martin from Boston & Brandon Owens from Portland, Maine). Many other disciples from far and wide have come through and encouraged us with their smiles, fellowship and love.
It is fantastic to be a part of a world-wide fellowship that is multi-cultural. With one voice, we are hearing the gospel shared, sung about and lived out in our generation. As we head into 2015, let’s be thankful for the amazing unity we share.
