Vincent and Joanna Added To Christ’s Body In Rhode Island Vincent Pitts and Joanna Washington have become great friends to many over the past several months. Vincent’s cousin, Maurice Perry from the Boston Church of Christ, introduced this cool couple to us back in the summer.

There have been a few challenges these two have had to face. They live in Fall River, MA, and have no car. They needed to make their dating relationship a godly one. And, in Vincent’s case, it is hard to “come back” or “be restored” when you have tried before and come up short.

However, on Sunday, November 15, through perseverance and with heart, Vincent was restored and then Joanna was immersed in the cold waters of Lincoln Woods State Park. Following sharing by Maurice and his wife, Michelle; a couple of important questions from Anita Allen and the support and applause of many – Vincent and Joanna are now an official part of the family.

Vincent is already working on one of his best friends to help encourage him to come back to Christ as well. Joanna brought two friends with her to the first women’s midweek following her baptism. The best is yet to come from and for these two. Let’s all pray for, encourage and enjoy the Christian life with Vincent and Joanna for now and forever.
