Keydogo & Race Relations

Over the last few months, here in the US, Canada, and in many other places, race relations has been a central topic of discussion.  The Regional Family Chair couples of our North American churches have drafted a letter (download below) to all of our North American churches, with input and advice from the Catalyst Team, the Elders service team, and the SCUAD Diversity Team.

We are sending it to you at their request.  We are proud of what this letter represents, what it upholds, and the statements it affirms. This letter, however, is not meant to be a substitute for all the real work of love, compassion and reconciliation that happens most and primarily in our local congregational contexts, as we create spaces for listening, conversation and diversity.

You are free to use this letter as fits best for your congregation. If it fits your contexts and as far as it is helpful, you can reference it in an announcement, read it to your congregation, post it on your social media channels etc.  Please take special note of the Day of Prayer and Fasting for August 12th.

In Him
